About
Jeff was born in a small town in the land of 10,000 lakes. He quickly fell in love with snowboarding, early on Jeff and his friends were part of an emerging culture in the sport, helping to establish the moves and style that is the backbone of the ever-evolving sport. “There were no rules, we were the black sheep of the mountain and part of the ‘grunge’ era. We were forced to go out and create and we made every dead tree, metal object something you could create a trick on.”
For years, Jeff traveled the world as a sponsored snowboarder. It was during this time that he began taking photos, avidly documenting his adventures and life on the road. His talent was evident from the start. While competing in Breckenridge, Colorado, his home mountain, Jeff suffered a back injury. After recovery, Jeff retired from snowboarding and competing to embrace photography as a career full time, approaching his work with the same devoted dedication that he did with snowboarding. “I put my heart and soul into everything I do, I am always striving to be my best self,” says Jeff. “First and foremost, my goal is to always deliver what the client has asked for, but I will always seek out additional creative perspectives they may have not considered.” Jeff is currently working between Denver, Nashville, and Los Angeles.
